KRAFTY Academy is a workforce-development, continuing-education, and project-based learning program supporting construction, community wellness education, AI training, digital literacy, culturally grounded professional development, and creative-industry readiness through separately governed pathways.
Participants may pursue credential-aligned learning, project experience, and employer-led pathways when eligibility, funding, issuer requirements, and written agreements are confirmed.
Krafty Academy exists to transform systems of survival into systems of opportunity. We focus on skill development, economic mobility, and healing + employment as one integrated system.
KRAFTY Academy is operated through Hip Hop Peoples DAO LLC. Other entities participate only under a verified written agreement and documented role including:
Each track supports readiness; credentials, project-based experience, and employment depend on independent approvals and availability.
Build real housing projects in Eastern North Carolina.
Train in sustainable food systems and urban agriculture.
Develop real-world media skills through production projects.
Build community-support, navigation, and peer-readiness skills.
Build practical digital foundations, responsible AI skills, and documented remote-work readiness.
AI TRAINING • DIGITAL LITERACY • REMOTE-WORK READINESS
KRAFTY Academy combines foundational digital skills with responsible AI use, remote-work readiness, and hands-on creative production. Learners can start with core digital literacy, move into the 7-day AI filmmaking starter training, or pursue the longer workforce pathway when a cohort is activated.
STARTER ROUTE
Approximately 30 minutes a day. Designed for aspiring filmmakers, content creators, artists, producers, entrepreneurs, and beginners who may not own a camera. Includes step-by-step exercises, prompts, templates, tool recommendations, and a real short-form video project.
WORKFORCE ROUTE
A deeper 180-hour curriculum for activated cohorts. Learners build a finished cinematic project, production records, a crew-competency profile, a portfolio, and a rights ledger. Completion may support consideration for supervised opportunities; it does not guarantee employment or paid assignments.
No real person’s likeness, voice, private information, or story may be used without documented permission. Learners track prompts, tools, source assets, licenses, releases, and synthetic-media disclosures. Human reviewers decide whether work is accurate, ethical, technically complete, and portfolio-ready. AI output must be checked before publication.
Attendance and time logs, task checklists, prompt logs, tool lists, asset and rights registers, supervisor assessments, finished work, and a certificate of completion after requirements are verified. A KRAFTY certificate documents course completion; it is not a state license, professional certification, academic credit, workforce-funding approval, or employment guarantee.
Example tools may include writing assistants, image and video generators, voice and music tools, avatar tools, and editors such as CapCut, Filmora, DaVinci Resolve, or Premiere. Tool access, free credits, prices, and features vary; subscriptions are separate from enrollment unless a written cohort agreement states otherwise.
CONTINUING EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
A culturally grounded education lane connecting hip-hop history, identity, community context, and ethical application to peer, educational, clinical-support, media, and workforce settings.
KRAFTY Academy may develop and teach this course. Degrees and subject-matter expertise strengthen instruction, but they do not automatically make course hours board-approved continuing education. Before KRAFTY advertises CE credit for a professional role, the governing board or credentialing body, provider requirements, course-approval mechanism, jurisdiction, and documentary approval must be confirmed.
What board or credentialing body governs your professional role, and what approval or provider requirements must this course meet before you may count the hours?
KRAFTY Academy may use proposed housing-development concepts, including a referenced site at 330 McCaskey Road, Williamston, NC.
Participants build construction-readiness evidence. OSHA instruction, work-based learning, credentials, wages, and employment require funding, approved instruction, employer authorization, and documentary verification.
Program interest does not guarantee housing, tenancy, financing, benefits, or placement. Any housing opportunity requires separate site control, permitting, financing, eligibility, and written agreements.
KRAFTY Academy may coordinate non-clinical, trauma-informed education with HHHI under a separate written agreement. Clinical services are not provided through this website.
Music and lyric-based reflection supporting narrative identity.

Track selection, Credential-aligned learning begins, Career mapping.
